I perked up at once mainly because.... the Starlight Foundation is the name of the orphanage Jerrica runs in Jem? In addition to creating these custom gowns, Starlight hosts VR events &amp; kits out video game rooms for these kids who are stuck in the hospital while they receive treatment. I’ve got a couple friends whose kids are going through some stuff, so I know how much programs like this absolutely make a difference in the quality of time. Anyway for my design I just wanted to make something cool and goofy and fun. Something that would make a kid feel brave; a champion. So why not... a knight! with an Ariana high-pony! Astride a unicorn! On a rainbow! In spaaaaace! For the unicorn I riffed on a design I did a while back for my Sleipnir tote, and reused a bunch of elements I created for a card line for Papyrus that never made it to production.
